Thoughts on the ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILL DIPBROW POMADE

Brow fillers are all over the place!!
Being a brow conscious girl i decided to buy this pomade and I'm tremendously obsessed !! Anastasia Beverly Hills products get a lot of hype, although for the price I was a little hesitant to buy but the claims and razzmatazz got me intrigued.

The pomade comes in 11 shades so there is a wide variety to choose from. It claims to be water-proof, long-lasting, smudge-proof, blendable, buildable, highly pigmented and dries matte. It comes in a small glass jar, which does seem pretty less for what you pay for. The product is gel based and you might say it looks like most gel eyeliners out there, well it does lol...

My verdict:-
I bought the shade Dark Brown and it is Amazing! It is creamy and smooth so it is very easy to draw on with an angled brush. It adheres to the hair very well and dries matte. For the amount, little goes a long way since the formula is buildable you do not need a lot. It stays put for a very long time without actually smudging or whatever. I once slept with the pomade on ( accidentally! don't complain how it is important to be makeup free before sleep :p) so when i woke up nothing had smudged and I was surprised to see it lasted so long.
Makeup bleed is one heck of a terror we all know. Incase you cry or it might as well just rain, unlucky! :( . Thank God for water-poof makeup! The pomade does not move or bleed when exposed to water however, rubbing it smudges it off so strictly DO NOT TOUCH policy here ladies...

Below: single stroke
Above: layering
After running water. No bleed.

How to use:-
1) Brush your eyebrow hair, outward and upward with a spoolie or simply a clean mascara brush.
2) Dip an angled brush in the pomade. Wipe off any excess with the jar.
[Depending on your ease you can draw on the line with a single stroke or do short strokes, it is up to you. Don't draw just where your brows start, instead begin a little further away to create a gradient effect. Lighter, more soft at the front and darker till the tail]
3) Outline your brows.
4) Now whatever is left on the brush extend the line till where your brows start.
5) Fill in the brows but keep it soft at the start or you could do short vertical strokes to give an appearance of brow hair at the start.
6) Using the spoolie, brush the brows to soften out any harsh lines.
7) With a concealer clean up any mistakes you made. Also it is gonna define your brows even more.

Final thought:-
This thing is my holy grail and i would totally recommend this!! It will last you way more than 6 months so it is worth the price.
It is available at many online stores and another good thing about this is that it is a multitasking product.
Yep, you heard me... You can use it in your eye make up looks or simply use it as an eyeliner and it will be just perfect!!

But keep in mind, since it is a quick drying product, longer exposure to air will dry it out so make sure to close the lid and tighten it. It does not come with a brush however, you can get the ABH angled brush with a spoolie on the other end for this purpose separately. You can also get their eyebrow gel which is gonna set your brows in place.

Hope this helps!!

Things you should be doing to prevent your foundation meltdown in humid summers if you have an oily face..

Let's face it, we've all suffered from this disaster. You invested the time to get a flawless face in the morning and hours later your foundation is all patchy and sliding off! Here's what you need to do Left: without primer Right: with primer 1)Invest in a good primer! Primers act as a base for your foundation. They prep your skin so it acts as a canvas for the foundation as the skin feels smooth and the foundation glides on easily. Buy a mattifying primer as it will mattify the shine, reduce the appearance of pores and help the foundation stay longer. 2)Get a foundation specific for your skin type. There are many drugstore and high end brands that make different types of foundations. 3)Translucent powder is your friend. It sets the foundation in place providing a matte finish and is not at all cakey however excessive powder can appear in flash photography so, careful  y'all.. 4)You have heard of setting sprays, inc...
